How to Claim CE

All CE certificates are issued through OSAP's Dental Infection Prevention & Safety CE Center.

LIVE continuing education hours are provided for all sessions viewed during their original scheduled time, January 22 - 26, 2023. To claim credits, you must enter the CE Code and complete an evaluation for each session. Instructions coming soon!

SELF-STUDY continuing education hours are provided for any session viewed after its original presentation (i.e., on-demand recordings), February 13 - April 14, 2023. Instructions coming soon!

Learning Objectives

Antibiotic Stewardship Summit

  1. Review the regulatory and national landscape for antimicrobial stewardship for dentistry
  2. Identify national guidelines and best practices for antimicrobial stewardship programs
  3. Discuss barriers, challenges, and opportunities for implementing and evaluating antimicrobial stewardship programs in the dental setting
  4. Identify tools and resources to support the development and implementation of a successful antimicrobial stewardship program in oral healthcare

2023 Dental Infection Control Boot Camp

  1. Describe disease transmission and principles of infection prevention and control in a variety of oral health care settings
  2. Identify relevant infection control laws, regulations, guidelines, standards, and best practice
  3. Utilize tools to assist with quality assurance measures (e.g., direct observation and feedback)

The 2023 OSAP Dental Infection Control Boot Camp™ is planned and presented by the 2023 OSAP Dental Infection Control Boot Camp Planning Committee to provide participants with a relevant and rewarding continuing educational experience. However, neither the content of a course nor the use of specific products in lectures or workshops should be construed as indicating endorsement or approval by OSAP of the views presented or the products used.
